The Widdas Family can trace their connection with the fine arts back almost 200 years to the portrait painter, John Widdas 1802 - 1858. His son Richard Dodd Widdas 1826 -1885 was a fine sporting artist whose evocative paintings of a coach and horses battling through snowy landscapes are still reproduced on Christmas cards today. |
